First off he wasnt always at middle weight...........

And second Paul said he will ACTIVELY campaign in 3 weight classes 147-154-160...and will fight anyone anytime.

Why won't he give Quintana his trilogy then if like you say he fights anyone anytime?

I don't care what he may or may noy have said. The timeline doesn't fit and Shane was the bigger fight for Cotto. On top of this, Williams own promoter said they were gearing towards a fight with Cotto if both fighters made it thru the year undefeated. Williams didn't. You're the only one making a fool of themself because you can't change facts by trying to discredit one fighter and nuthug another. And after the Quintana rematch Williams moved up. This isn't even arguable.

        • I don't blame Cotto, I wouldnt want to fight Williams if I were him, CottoCop is smart, I respect that.

          • Thats because Williams is junior middleweight.

Can we all go home now?

            • Perhaps the reason why Cotto doesn't call out Williams is because Williams is NOT A WELTERWEIGHT. Williams was the champion until he pussied out and left the title vacant (which Cotto has right now, btw) and left to a much weaker division right now. Williams would also get schooled by Santos so stop all the trash talking. The only people Williams could beat right now at his weight would be the old guys like Vernon and (maybe) Winky. What's the problem with Cotto? Call out Mosley or Mayweather or Hatton or some other ww. I guess that Williams fans hate Cotto cause he didnt have to get schooled by Quitana once to beat him by TKO.

              • This whole thread will be irrelevant once clottey ko's cotto or defeats him in a controversial decision! Then he will unify with Berto, then he will face PW!

u actually think arum is goin to let him leave with that belt! NOPE! think don king and diaz! promoters always have a fighter to keep the house in order!

imho i believe cotto is good but highly over rated!

I agree about Clottey knocking out Cotto. That doesnt seem to be the consensus, but I think Clottey is just too strong for Cotto.
