He didn't quit and he fought him, right? And whats all the hoopla with calling fighters out? Margarito did it to Floyd and it got him nowhere.

And what else? a loss to Margarito? where's the money? why isn't this fight in PPV if Clottey brings so much more than Williams? Williams said he will come back down to Welterweight if anyone there wants to fight him. Nobody there wants to fight him. Why stay?

Again, Williams ruined his immediate chances of getting a shot at Cotto by losing to Quintana whom he was supposed to easily beat.

The point being made is that if Williams wants to fight welterweights, he should fight at welterweight. He hasn't fought at welterweight in over a year, is not ranked at the weight, doesn't hold a belt and his next fight is at 160 against Winky Wright.

Let Williams come back to welterweight, regain his titles, get a top 5 ranking and make the fight. Right now it's ridiculous to accuse Cotto of ducking a fighter who's next fight is at middleweight.

Are you fucking ******. Or are you acting that way. Williams pursued Cotto. But had to fight Carlos Q because Cotto was unwilling to fight him.

He did loss to Carlos Q but did he not avenge it by round one KO.

The Quintana fight was supposed to be a showcase for Williams against a former Cotto opponent, instead was outboxed and lost a decision.

Yes he did and moved up to 154+ lbs and has stayed at that weight ever since, losing his WW ranking and titles.
