Clottey-Cotto didn’t happen because HBO didn’t want to put up the funds.

Margarito ducked a 4 million guaranteed for Mosley instead of fighting for the ring title

Mosley wants no part of Williams
He called out Cotto after Margarito and what does he go onto do? He loses to Quintana whom he was supposed to impressively beat and then move onto fight the big names. After avenging the loss he moves up in weight and vacates his title.

The 4 million dollar offer sounds questionable to say the least. I know that such an offer was made but was there really any truth to it? Was a Williams-Margarito fight truly worth 4 million dollars? Was it just a ploy to make Williams look good?

He beats Margarito but can’t call out Cotto. He did lose to carlos Q and he avenged it brutality. What more do you want. He did not vacant his belt idiot. WBO doesn’t allow you to fight for 2 belts in different weight classes.

The 4 million was real. Goosen sent a letter to Arum. Where were you???

Clottey-Baldomir was a disgusting decision on the referee's part and that fight was a decade ago. Right now there's no question that Clottey would pummel Baldomir rather easily.

I don't think people had any problem with Mayweather fighting Baldomir, he gets criticism because he did not fight anyone else in the division.

What has Joshua Clottey done? what does he bring to the table other than a IBF belt and no money or PPV or fanbase?

ask him what did Alfonso Gomez bring to the table...seriously some of the cotto fans are ridicilous when they make excuses.

He gave up his belt when he made the decision to fight Phillips at a higher weight. I'm sure Williams and his team knew the rules.

I know an offer was made to Margarito. I'm just doubting its legitimacy.

Gatti was washed up and never belonged at 147 and Judah proved his worth by losing to Baldomir.

As far as the Clottey fight.........who was winning that fight before the disqualification. Don't try and make it seem like Baldomir was outfighting him, because that simply isn't true. these are FACTS.
