Am pretty sure they knew it was plaster, They probably wanted to sweep it under the carpet and just do away with it....For me they didnt really want Margarito's previous opponents sueing them for negliegence since they have to sign his wraps whenever he got in the ring.

How could they know without the lab tests? That's the whole point of having lab tests. You're confusing su****ion with knowledge.

The translation of this is that Maragarito is saying that what was removed was a little piece of "tape" (yes tape, not plaster) that was outcoming from the wraps and that was all that was removed.
