Antonio Margarito's Wraps Contained "Plaster Elements"

Margarito and Capetillo should get banned for life unless they tell the truth about Margarito's previous plaster usage. Margarito was a nice guy to me when I met him during the Pacquiao/Morales 3 fight. That doesn't excuse him cheating. IF I was Miguel Cotto I would be fn livid with Margarito, Capetillo, and Bob Arum. And whoever has that saying "its not cheating untill you get caught" doesn't count when you are risking somebody's life other than yours.

Only an idiot would believe that he only tried to cheat against fighters he was already suppose to beat as a favorite but he would not cheat as an underdog....as David Chappelle would say "Negro please!"

He found them by accident? I don't remember him saying that? I remember him saying he felt the wraps and noticed that they were harder than usual & asked Capetillo to rewrap Margarito's hands and that's when the blocks fell out the wraps. Richardson is a pro at observing and checking to make sure the wraps are legal. He did the same thing with Tito Trinidad so not buying that he stumbled upon it because to me it sounds like he was doing his job and Cotto's uncle wasn't (IF Margarito indeed cheated during that fight).

the proof is only for the mosley fight. we still don't know if margo cheated against cotto, but its very probable. that's why NSAC needs to have a hearing.

Sincerely I couldn't give two ****s about your dumb opinion. And like I said before you can't make valid argument about Cotto having the wrong gameplan or all the other variables you posted when it's more than likely he was getting hit with concrete filled gloves.

The fact that he was probably being hit with plaster coated knuckle wraps does not prove that he had the right gameplan!! Most boxing experts thought he had the wrong gameplan, not just me. Are you really saying you think that clinching occasionally when you're in trouble is a bad tactic in boxing? And are you really saying you think that having a broken nose doesn't have any effect on your breathing whatsoever?

I phrased what I mean wrong, my bad. Accident probably wasn't the right word.

What I'm saying was that it was the wraps he noticed, not the foreign substance. His problem with how the wraps were wrapped is what led to the discovery of the foreign substance.

Still though, your right. If Tony's hands were wrapped the same way against Cotto Evangelista should have noticed.

My only point was that it wasn't the foreign substance Nazeem noticed immediately. It was the wrapping of Tony's hands that caught his eye, the foreign substance came to light as a result of the way the hands were wrapped.

I do wish that Margarito would load his gloves with actual bricks and come back and smack Gayfeather in the mouth a few times.

I fully agree with everything else in your post, but the jury's still out on the above bit - I really hope you're right, and I imagine you'll probably turn out to be right, but as of now the Mayor of Tijuana hasn't yet withdrawn his invitation for Marg to fight there, and the sooner he withdraws it, the better.
