I'm one of very few on here (it seems), who actually really likes them both.

Barrera is just my favorite based on personal taste.

With respect to the thread starter, I think 20 years of boxing professionally (and starting at age 15 against older opponents) is very "impressive." It's one thing to play baseball for 20 years and still hit a baseball. It's another thing completely to step into the ring 20 years later. Even "bums" hit back.

Morales is my favorite boxer of all-time but i like and have a ton of respect for Barrera as well. Both represented Mexico proud and i consider them just about equal in their greatness! I give Morales a slight edge but its close! Both are legends though no doubt about it!!!
