Barrera Marquez fight was actully closer then what the scorecard says. It was draw or one point win for Barrera even with the 2 point reduction

Morales Last Fight - August 2007-Most thought Erik shouldve won and got his fourth title..

Barrera since then - A Loss to Pacquiao..Wins over a nobody Sammy Ventura..Freudis Rojas (1-7-1) and an asskicking from Amir Khan of all people.

        Is that, THAT impressive??

You dont think so? Ok lets quickley go back another 4 fights..

Barrera-A Loss to Marquez..2 Wins over Rocky Juarez, Robbie Peden..

Morales-loss to Barrera..Wins over Pacquiao,Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez

        What do u guys think?

El terrible is greater than MAB imo. Morales defeated Junior jones and Pacquiao, who both holds 2 win against MAB. Their trilogy was too close to call anyway and yes Morales shouldve been the first Mexican to win in 4 divisions.

I dont wanna take nothing away from Barrera..But i do feel that Erik has the better resume..I feel sometimes people base Barrera's on the fact that his so called longer career and more fights..Longer Career and more fights dont mean that much compared to tough competition fought and defeated, something that Erik does have on Barrera..

Barrera is more impressive because of his ability to come back from devastating losses and adjust. How many other fighters have been able to completely change their style (especially from a brawler to a boxer-puncher) so effectively?

Whose taking anything away anything from Mab?
After their trilogy fought PAC in another trilogy giving a legitimate ATG trouble.

Morales can, but hes just too hardheaded to box, he preffered to go to war to give his fans something more.

Barrera turned Pro 4 years before Morales, and has 19 more Pro fights than Morales.

Barrera > Morales, Get Over It, It's Not Up For Debate.

So your argument is based mostly on the age during pro debut and number of fights?
