I'll be interested when he fights someone with a pulse...which in the heavyweight division might take awhile.

Ondrej is better than you make him out to be. He probably deserved a close decision win against Dettweiler, and he looked good against Akinwande.

I saw his fight with Airich and although it was scored an MD, I thought Pala won every round. He dominated the last two rounds and almost stopped Konstantin.

I've never seen Boytsov-Pala, so I can't comment on it.
OK, I LOVE Pala, he is the only real heavyweight we have. I met him in Dubai and that was easily the highlight if my trip. No one including myself feels that Ondrej will be a world champion. He is good and is getting better, but the ceiling on him is no where what many have put above Boytsov. I have read countless reports on how Boytsov is the next GREAT heavyweight and how exciting and dominating he is and so on and so forth. Ondrej is a good heavyweight and I see him as a European champion down the road leading to a very respectable career. But if Boytsov is the future deity that he has been proclaimed as, then real Heavyweight champions are supposed to easily handle European champions. Something like Lewis/Mavrovic (sp?) For what its worth, he beat Dettweiler the announcers were shocked that Rene got the win and he did really well against Airich and an MD was scoring. It was a clear UD. He doesn't get any love fromt he German judges, but hopefully they can be more objective now that he has established himself. Kind've reminds me of Oleg Platov in how he has been placed tough early. So to be fair I think Ondrej Pala is a real solid fighter and that Denis Boytsov is as well, but I think that Ondrej will exceed the reality modest expectations put upon him and that Boytsov won't meet the incredibly lofty ones placed upon him

I've always thought Boytsov is too small to be a 21st century heavyweight champion. I'm well aware he won't get past people like Wlad and Dimitrenko.

That being said, he's one of my favorites because he's fun to watch (he has an aggressive style like Lamon Brewster). I'm confident he'll be in some exciting fights in the years to come.

Dimitrenko has nice work ethic, good stamina, long jab but weak chin. Been down three times fightin only one decent opponent in Hoffmann. Arreola and Povetkin have better resume's then him. Dimitrenko's handlers definitely aren't doin a good job bringin him up but don't matter dude will get a title shot soon. He'll be KO'd by Haye, Klitschkos or Arreola in my opinion.

I've been a big fan of him for a while, I absolutely love his progress. Besides, Sdunek (his trainer) really knows how to train tall aggressive fighters (see Vitali and pre-Steward Wlad). I think that he has stamina, balls, and power to give any HW a very difficult fight. In fact, I think his fight with Wlad would be a very entertaining fight, much better than Wlad's last 4-5. In fact, that's why I don't hear Wlad mentioning his that often.

I think he KOs Haye, Arreola, and gives problems to Wlad. Vitali would KO him, there is nobody who can beat him at the moment.

I heard from a reliable source in Germany today that if Povetkin defeats Estrada, Dimitrenko vs. Povetkin will be in the works for early July. Whether this fight is made or not, Povetkin will be fighting another stay-active fight before he faces Wlad.

Sauerland wants to put him in with Dimitrenko to help prepare him for Wladimir.

If this is true, I imagine both Wlad and Povetkin will want the IBF to extend the Sep 13 deadline for their title fight.
