    No love for Dimitrenko?

When it comes to young up-and-coming HWs, all everyone ever talks about is Haye, Arreola and occasionally Povetkin. Sam Peter was blasted away and exposed last year, and the Cameron-Tua match looks unlikely to ever happen. Among others.

    But you're all forgetting someone!

He's undefeated, he's six foot fucking seven, he looks like Ivan Drago, and he fights real good (head/upper body movement, earmuffs, footwork).

So why does nobody ever mention Alexander Dimitrenko in their HW discussions? I think he'd give anyone a good fight right now. I've been saying it for a lil while but if Haye, Arreola and Povetkin are out of the picture for a Wlad title fight, why can't he face the highly-ranked Dimitrenko?

WAR Sascha! Consider me a fan.

Exactly....he just needs a high profile fight, even if he loses people will talk about him but first they have to know who he is.

I didn't know anything of him either, until I saw someone on here a while ago with an avatar of him. I thought to myself "Who's that... He looks just like Drago!"

So I found out it's Dimitrenko, got his stats, watched a few matches (only found 3 so far) and liked his work a lot. He's the reason my interest in the HW division has risen slightly more recently.

It's not all as bad as they make out.

Dimitrenko is good, though not ready for a title shot yet. He seems to be on the same level as Arreola and Povetkin right now.

Im driving the Dimitrenko bandwagon. I think he is the future of the division and not very far from being the present. He has heart and a decent chin (watch his fight with steroided Timo Hoffman) and throws to the bodt (look at his one punch KO of Luan Krasniqi) and stays busy. I used to think he was an absolute waste of height, but he has matured as a fighter more than anyone I have seen in years. Well, in the heavies in years, its really somehting reminescent of how Pacquaio has developed into a complete fighter. Alexander had power but never used it and just boxed his way to decisions. Lately, he has showed me everything to be "The Man" except for a f.ucking personality. Damn the Euro heavies, we need characters to go along with all the skill.

I've never seen him being interviewed, but his happy-happy dancing and jumping around after the Krasniqi and Tann KOs certainly leave the Drago comparisons in the distance. :laff2:

That German crowd was fuckin SILENT after their boy Krasniqi got crippled right in front of them.
