Hatton is far from slow! I bet there's nobody in the world (or very few) that would agree with you.

Khan's chin is rubbish. Being at his peak isn't gonna help. Hatton sparks him out in 3 rounds, and that's with Khan being cautious and defensive.

Hatton is a pressure fighter but he is certainly not slow. His footwork is amongst the fastest in boxing and he is one of the most effective boxers in the world at cutting off the ring. Once he does get inside (and he has always managed to do so, so far) he is also a very effective body puncher, except against a near impenetrable defence of the quality of Floyd's (and Pac isn't known for having a great defence on the inside).

His hands aren't slow either. He is certainly less skilled than Pac, and can't fight on the outside because of his short reach; but to call him slow is just ignorant.

Hatton is currently ranked by The Ring as the eighth best fighter in the world pound for pound, which means that the vast majority of boxing experts rate him far more highly than you do (and most of them are American - so in your terms, "that's saying something").

i think amir is there to practice/improve the PACMAN's speed and keep manny sharp not to mimic hatton's style, they have other sparring partners for that.

have you followed hatton all his life or just in the last few years since he went to america and beat a castillo that should of retired years ago??? yes khans chin isnt the best but hattons isnt exactly great either..unless floyd mayweather is a ko artist or juan lazcano is a super brawler lol.. i clearly saw juan lazcano have ricky hatton rocking in the last few rounds of that fight only 2 fights ago..if lazcano can do that then any good fighter has a chance, people in the uk were begging hatton to retire after that fight..since then he had 1 fight against a mallignaggi and everyone has forgotton what happened..

I don't think Dave thinks he does. I was saying I think he does, as he's proved it on here.

You don't have to be a fighter to know about boxing. You don't have to be a Formula 1 driver to see when an F1 driver takes a corner badly. You can know just as much about boxing without lacing up a pair of gloves. We're talking about knowledge, not experience.

I've been watching Hatton since he turned pro. When was that... 97, 98?

What makes you think I live in America?

do you mean the ring as in (golden boy) who aka hattons promoters??? agreed hatton is very good at cutting of a ring but i dont hink he has fast hands and yes he is a very good body puncher..his brawling skills at close range are undeniable but against any boxer of high quality (brawler vs boxer) he will get shown up any any top boxer isnt ****** enough to stay put in fron of him..manny paqs style of brillian moving in and out and hard lefts will put his lights out.. mayweather did it and i think manny will do the same.

You're ****ed in the head. You think I love Hatton like crazy? Look at my sig pic, FFS! It should tell you as much as you need to know. And you think I'm racist? Unbelievable.

Don't try and categorize people, it's wrong. You have no clue about me, you have no clue about what I know. I remember reading about Hatton in the RING magazine many, many years ago. I thought he was a decent fighter, but that's as far as it goes. I watched him every time I could, not as a big fan, but as a boxing fan who will watch any fight, pretty much.

As for Khan, I have nothing against him. He has talent, but his chin is **** and he will be sparked out cold against any top lightweight, never mind Hatton at 140.
