He can't explain it because he obviously doesn't understand the quote he was pretending to criticise.

To spell it out for him, it was making the point that Khan was useful as a sparring partner for the DLH fight because he could mimic Oscar's jab; but is less obviously useful as a sparring partner for the Hatton fight, because he can't mimic Hatton's style.

When you got beat in one round by an unknown slugger who doesn't appear to have much skill outside that, you need to show humility until you've achieved what you said you would - i.e you beat the best in your division. Ricky Hatton as of now would KO Amir faster than Breidis Prescott.

are you drunk???? khan has a massive following!! why would he be jealous.. iv seen khan fill out a shopping centre with 5000!!!! people which is more then most of the worlds best fighters..and i repeat A SHOPPING CENTRE!!!!! PUBLICITY WISE khan is a bigger deal out there then hatton FACT!! im a fan of both and have been for ages here in the uk and you would be shocked with the crowds amir khan can pull in..i wouldnt be surprised if it was more then hatton..they both pull massive crowds and sell tickets.

I used to strongly believe that you needed to spar in the style of your opponent.

I remember that mayweather used a speedy southpaw (chop-chop) for mitchell and zab. Makes sense. Then he used big, strong JMW's/MW's (Kofi jantuah, Devin, daniel Eduard) for Oscar. Makes sense again.

Then - oddly - Floyd chose a lumbering, slow-handed, slow-footed but durable Baldomir as his chief sparring partner for Hatton. Baldomir and Hatton have very little in common, but come fight night Floyd was sharp as hell.

So, who knows?
