dude, I think Pacman wins this one but watch some video of Hatton, he ain't exactly slow. Hatton often swings wide and jumps in at times, but he is far from slow. Hatton is a heavy puncher...not a boxer, Khan is a boxer...not a puncher. Both have different styles

You sure about that? pretty fast jumping the gun.

Okay, and that's possible but I still think the evidence for it is extremely weak.

Hatton was not out on his feet. He was certainly badly hurt, but to claim he was out on his feet is silly. He was still throwing shots, some of which were landing, and he was trying to clinch, before the referee intervened. It's possible that he wouldn't have survived without that intervention, but IMO it's far from certain.

Also, it was a series of flush shots that hurt him, not just a single shot; and as I said before, he got hit flush like that because he was wild and left his chin hanging out, which I doubt he'll do against Pac.

And when he was rocked in the eighth, he recovered immediately, and was actually winning the exchanges by the end of that round, which doesn't strike me as the way someone whose punch resistance is very poor would act.

        Fair enough.

FWIW, if you didn't keep making over the top or untrue statements, people could have a really good boxing discussion with you. You obviously are a lot more knowledgeable about boxing than I thought at first, but you spoil it by saying things like Hatton is slow, when he is not; or that he was out on his feet when he wasn't; or that The Ring's ratings are influenced by GBP, when they're not; or that anyone who rates Hatton more highly than you is automatically just swallowing hype - which are all simply untrue (and the last one is insulting). I'm just trying to be constructive, because as I say, you do yourself down by making statements like that - it would be very enjoyable to discuss boxing with you if you didn't keep doing that.

Well as you pointed out, your statement wasn't contradictory; and when asked to explain why he thought it was, he refused, and wrote a rather patronising reply to Samurai.

Because he did not fight the bests and defeated. Once he will lose to Pacman, excuses comes and overdrained will be the most used excuses!

It was not so long ago everybody was saying that hatton was done. Then a good performance against a poor mallignaggi has put him back up there. The main thing is that pacquiao is not mallignaggi - he's stronger, faster and more explosive. Pacquiao would have taken the same malignaggi out in 5 rounds at the most!

LOL you're probably right - but having said that, Ricky would have put out the same ODLH in 5 rounds at the most

No excuses are needed for losing to the P4P #1, and that one would be really silly because he is under one of the best trainers in the world. Don't be so paranoid.
