I agree that PBF is more important to boxing than Lebron to the NBA... why?

Well because the NBA is more popular than boxing. If Lebron never existed people would still be watching basketball, people would still be following march madness. PBF is famous and a cross over star (in rap, dancing with the stars and in wrestling).. boxing is not nearly as popular as the NBA and thus needs its mainstream stars more desperately than the NBA.

              Reality Check:

Floyd has already became undisputed WW champion of the world.
and the lineal title with that...

So what other award can floyd win at WW that he already havent got???

And if he returns Why does it have to be a ww?

Why cant it be a JR. WW?
Why cant it be a JR. MW?
Why cant it be a MW?

Floyd fans have no problem with floyd fighting Other WW's...
The problem is that People saying he can ONLY fight Welterweights for it to be a legitimate fight and win, when he himself is not really a welterweight compare to the rest of the welterweights...

People say all he has to fight a real WW and nobody else..!!!
thats what make floyd fans feel like you guys are being hypocritical....

because you are not saying no other fighters have to fight in 1 weight class for it to be consider a legitimate win.

              So by your logic

I guess you dont like the fact that Hopkins beat up on a middleweight in Pavlik instead of fighting somebody like chad dawson??

Well quite frankly hes telling the truth... Kobe and LeBron havent dont much for the NBA.Hell lebrons only been in the league 4 years. Now if he said floyd has done more for boxing than Majic, Jordan, Dr jay, Kareem or anyone of that caliber has done for the NBA then he'd deserve to be slapped.

Are you kidding me???? You do realize the NBA is televised worldwide right? They may not show every single game let's say in Hong Kong, but when an NBA telecast is presented, take a guess which names you'll be seeing (Kobe, Lebron, Wade). Kobe and Lebron are 2 of the sports biggest names followed by Dwayne Wade. I mean, we're taking merchandising from Jersey sales, ticket sales, tons of media coverage, commercials, etc...all brought on due to the NBA. Take Lebron or Kobe out of their respected teams or the league for that matter and tell me what other stars right now can hold that torch.

It's ridiculous to compare Floyd's impact on Boxing to Lebron and Kobe's to the NBA. Kobe and Lebron are proven ticket sellers night in and night out. Floyd's had 2 big money fights and now all of a sudden Boxing NEEDS him? LOL smhhhhh...wasn't it Floyd who couldn't sell out his own home town?
