I like Mayweather and hope he does return, but he dosn't have Lebron status in the sport but I'll agree he is as important as Brady or Manning to the NFL. If Lebron stays healthy its no question in my mind he will be the greatest player ever when he retires. Its too soon to call but Lebron has better numbers than any other player in NBA history by the age of 25

Greenburg showcases his own deficiencies as broadcastings head of boxing with those comments. Greenburg/HBO has failed in creating new stars by keeping on with billing boxings seniors tour as the best fighters in the world. HBO has failed to create new stars despite the talent pool being as big as it ever was.

I blame him/HBO for the alleged downslide in boxings popularity. He has not made enough new stars to fill the shoes of Hopkins, RJJ, DLH ect. If he and his network had done so he wouldn't need to beg for Floyd to come back and just let him enjoy his selfimposed premature retirement.

Good point, but most people forget Lebron is a much more complete player as far as rebounding assist and all around contribution to the team. Without Lebron the Cavs would be worst than my favorite team the Knicks. I like Jordan but the teams he took to the finals were great. I don't think Jordan could take the Cavs as far as they went 2 years ago like Lebron did
