Better Fight than Sheika, and brings more money and recognition than a Clinton Woods fight, also probably will be alot easier, as long as RJJ doesnt absorb too many hard shots while hes on the ropes...

Let's see. Joe's last meaningless fights ended up him getting KO'd twice and UD'd. Other than that, he looked unconvincingly against nobodies and blown up passed it champions.

Last i hear Lacy was schooled silly against Taylor.

      --

Sorry, this bout is meaningless and dumb.

RJJ needs to fight Hopkins, both of them retire.

          I'm diggin' it

I'd like to see this fight. The loser probably won't get another big fight. Two Florida guys battlin'. Lacy isn't the same guy since Calzaghe but neither is Jones. Taylor didn't necesarily impress me with his win over Lacy although he clearly won. I didn't see Jones vs Sheika but I know Sheika has barely faught in the last couple years. If he is really going to continue to fight I think it this point Lacy is still a pretty good test for him. I think it could work on Shotime. I'd even be willing to order it on PPV for 25 to 30 dollars if it doesn't include MMA bull****. But Shotime should definetly be making fights like this. Looking foward to Taylor vs Froch and Bradley vs Holt.

roy will whoop Lacy but lose to Taylor. I don't think Roy could keep up with Taylor for 12 rounds.

Roy beats them both. Come on. Be real and give the man some credit. If Lacy or Taylor walked in the ring against the RJJ of last Sat night, they both would of got schooled. It all depends on Roy IMO. I agree with his statement as in when his father realizes it and HE FEELS it's time to get out, then get out, otherwise, ride this mother****er till the wheels fall off bro!

You're putting way too much stock in a Roy that looked good against a fat, out of shape Sheika who came in the ring with man boobs and a trigger happy ref. He was a punching bag in there.

Jones hasn't looked good against top opposition in a long time. Stop kidding yourself.

                  I agree.

I'm not going to say I didn't enjoy watching Roy against Sheika, because I did. Still, I'm not going to delude myself. Roy struggles very badly against Lacy and loses badly to Taylor.

Neither has Taylor or Lacy, which is why I have that confidence in Jones.

Lacy, no way does he struggle and Taylor couldn't outbox the "one dimensional" Pavlik. So now I'm supposed to believe he can outbox someone who is faster and an an all around better boxer? How so? Even at his diminished state and age, I still have him beating these two. I'm sorry, I just don't see it the other way.
