Ok, I'll give in and say JT outboxed him in a few rounds. My whole point of it all wasn't to get into a statistical battle but yet use the statistics to show how a ****er outboxed a boxer and to think RJJ, even now, couldn't do the same if not worse.

LOL. Well as I've said I don't really want to see it made as I don't think my boy would win.

To be honest at this point I would just be happy for Roy to get a couple more showcase wins and ride off into the sunset. I am ok with him fighting B-level or older guys, but I don't like his chances against a strong prime guy like Taylor.

Lacy looks even more done than Jones so Roy probably takes this by UD. Now Taylor i just dont see him beating people forget that he's still in his prime even if he lost a couple times to pavlik. losing to pavlik is no shame even if everyone likes hating on him now!

My question still stands - re-read your first paragraph and you tell me how JT ourboxed Pav as you claimed initially?

Because when Taylor was actually active, he landed the cleaner punches and landed them at a significantly higher rate. He had little trouble hitting Pavlik, he just couldn't match his work rate.

You're also forgetting this overview of Taylor is at MW. You think Taylor has more power than Jones?? You think he has better handspeed?? You obviously just said he's not the busier fighter. SO HOW can you come to your conclusion he beats him the way you claim???

I never said Taylor has more power or better handspeed than Jones, just that they are good enough to cause Jones lots of problems. I'd estimate the differences between them in power and speed is negligible. And I actually said Taylor would be the busier fighter against Jones.

Taylor's defense early, when Jones is still active and strong, would be his only possible downfall in the fight.
