Manny won because he fought a weight-drained shell of Oscar..
Hoya's legs looked like a Flamingo with advanced Polio.
Berastain took a world-class Mayweather trained fighter and reduced him to a dry-rotted punching bag.
you're right...Nacho should have recited a crackhead poem instead of providing Oscar with the same legendary training as he gave ALL of his former champions

da****outta here troll...nacho > floyd sr
actually i think floyd wouldn't have let dlh eat kangaroo meet.
floyd would've been a better trainer for floyd because he knows dlh better.

Pull, I hardly look at Nacho as a ‘downgrade’ from Floyd…sure he knows Oscam better but with Nacho, you actually know your opponent’s tendencies since he’s already seen PAC twice

***** please..
That glue-sniffing style of fighting is why Oscar got beat down.

I dont think nacho is a downgrade either, but nacho doesn't know dlh as well as mayweather and that could be why dlh was dumb enough to weigh 145 in the weigh in and 147 on fight night.

not 100% true
first off its not Nacho's part to worry about the conditioning of Oscar it is Rob Garcia's. Nacho worked on the things in the ring and creating a strategy for Manny.
Conditioning-wise they ****ed up. They had him tracking in the 140's far too soon and it showed when he couldn't replenish any fluids and had to use IV (something Freddie Roach has said as well). Valero said as well the camp was a farce and that most of the actual in ring action was for HBO and not for training. He said most of the camp was built around Oscar losing weight. He also said Oscar ran like a girl and that would either lag behind the others or stop way before they did.
I really don't get why it can't be a lot of one and some of the other. The Manny in the ring that night would have given a lot of welterweights issues. He was sharp, ready for the fight, and in peak physical condition. He had great sparring and a great team making sure he was a healthy Manny when he tipped the scales
contrast that by Oscar who mostly focused on being at weight or making sure he wasn't too far from it. The pressure of making sure that he was at 147 come Dec 5th had to have gotten to him and his nutrionist. His sparring I heard was reduced to nothing more than Mookie Pendarvis and Fred Tukes as both Ortiz and Valero pretty much beat Oscar up. They worked on weight loss so much that when it came time to weigh in Oscar had nothing left thus resulting in his body rejecting fluids. Freddie Roach made the comment he knew Manny was going to stop Oscar the moment he saw IV marks on his arm.
Manny kicked ass but Oscar was indeed weight drained
