    of course i give manny his props if he knocks hatton out...i do believe manny is the best in the world p4p....and have lots of respect for de la hoya too...and manny has beaten lots of future hall of famers, making manny a sure thing for the hall of fame, i didnt even think right now hatton gets in the hall of fame at the moment...thats why hes looking for signature wins...i just think all the critcs that said about manny before the de lahoya fight, about how oscar is the bigger guy, people afterwards were like oh i guess that doesnt matter anymore, then it all comes back to roost in this fight...when we see how live hatton is in the ring....but much respect for the accomplismnets of manny, just i think hes biting off too much here...could be wrong

      This is mostly why I am picking Hatton. I was picking Pac but rewatched the PBF-Hatton fight and damn Hatton is fast. Not just hands but in movement. He got right back inside so fast after each break that PBF could only get off a shot or 2 before he was inside again. Now PBF showed a great inside game and some tricks in there, but does Pac have the inside game to compete with Hatton? Pac seems to like his distance and without his explosiveness his power is greatly diminished.

      Hatton made some terrible mistakes in the PBF fight like going straight in with no headmovement at all. I expect May sr. to make some slight tweaks and make him very effective. He aint going to change his style completely and it would be a huge mistake to try and box with Pac like he did with Paulie, but if he picks the right strategy I got Hatton by stoppage.

        See, this is the funny thing. Hatton says "I'm massive at Jr. Welterweight", but yet he's too small for Welterweight and comes in at 152 pounds?

        I ain't buying it. Hatton talks a lot of crap sometimes.

        At 147, let's look at who he's fought:

        Collazo = southpaw
        Mayweather = true elite fighter

        Both gave him problems. He doesn't get on with elite fighters. He doesn't do well against southpaws. Pacquiao is both.

          I hope Manny will rip Hatton's face badly and give him a total beating so all of you can STFU...
          Oscar quit in 8 rounds.. who's to say that he wouldn't go down if he had continued.. It looked to me if the fight would've gone on, Oscar was going to get knocked out sooner or later.

              Yup, i hear you... This is the scenario I have of Hatton winning and why I thought that this fight would be a close one.... I also see scenarios were Manny dominates him but the scenario you mentioned is the most likely scenario in support of a hatton victory...

                  ok people are underestimating collazo, he took andre berto to the limit, and some had him beating berto....luis collazo is no slouch, and hatton took his belt...people are saying hatton doens't belong at the top tier in the world...they said the samething before he beat kosta tzyu in a classic

                    Yeah,that's the reason why he quit coz he knows he'll eventually get KTFO...his knees buckled a couple of times in Round 7..
                    If Ricky is underestimating Pac's Power...well good for him..he'll taste it on May 2..

                      I didn't underestimate Collazo, I think he's a good fighter. My point was that he's a decent southpaw, and Hatton doesn't seem to do too well against them.

                      As for the Kostya Tszyu win, I was pretty disgusted at the way Hatton fought. If he tries the same strategy with a ref who won't stand for it, he's getting points taken off.
