You're kidding yourself if you think Taylor won't fit at SMW; he and Froch are roughly the same size. He was always a big MW. I think you'll be surprised when you see them face to face in April.

The only smaller fighters Taylor struggled to beat were Wright and Spinks, who were both legitimate champions at 154, and both slick southpaws. It shows a massive double standard for you to criticize Taylor for those tough defenses when Froch, in your mind, is facing a smaller, slicker fighter who was a champion at a lower weight in his first defense. If Froch has a tough time with Taylor but wins, are you going to hold him to the same standard and take him to task for struggling to beat a middleweight? No - you're going to be fighting his girlfriend for a spot on his sack.

Froch is fighting Taylor because he is mandatory. Froch is IMO better than Pavlik. And he hits a lot harder.

Yes I will be critical of Froch if he struggles to win. Id prefer froch to fight Kessler or Bute to be honest. Taylor dont impress me.

Carl Froch is a bit overrated in my book. Jean Pascal...thats nothing... You can say whatever you want about Bad Intentions but he has taken on ALL challengers and has never ducked... He gets all my respect.. He brawled with Winky, Hopkins twice, Pavlik twice... Put Lacy away for good. Froch... he has done what??? Taylor looked incredibly sharp in his last fight and looks like he wants to take someone's lunch right now. He is one of the only fighters that actually fights like his nick name suggests. BAD INTENTIONS. Sure he got KO'd brutally and outboxed by Kelly but he is hungry again. Froch is gonna get embarrassed and then KO'd. I got JT all day in this one... Froch is too slow and JT is gonna batter his face with that exceptional jab. Froch has upside but he chewed up more than he can eat in this one... I admie his confidence and bravery though.

i think it will be a very one-sided UD for taylor,he is so far ahead of froch with boxing skills i cant see carl winning if JTs staminia holds up

Shut up Carl. Deep down everyone knows that Taylor is the vastly more skilled boxer. The question is whether Taylor has the heart anymore. I don't think he does, which is why I have a feeling Froch will stop him late. Kessler and Abraham both have too much for Froch though. A fight against Pavlik would be particularly interesting.

LOL. Benn and Eubank are both listed at 5'10" or under; you do realize Taylor is listed at 6'0-6'1", right? The exact same as Carl? And that his reach is, by most sources, listed as greater than Carl's?

There will be negligible size difference between Carl and Jermain when they meet, believe me.
