Don't be surprised if Froch wins. I called it a long time ago, and I still think he's gonna hurt Taylor. It is one bet I would be happy to lose, though. I can't stand the guy, but he is a tough bastard!

Taylor has to be the favourite, but I wouldn't be surprised either. From the protracted negotiations I think it's obvious the Taylor camp would rather fight someone else - and with good reason. If you're 30 and with a high profile you don't really want to be facing a hungry, undefeated and unorthodox fighter with plenty of power and a cliff for chin. But Taylor's stock has fallen sharply in the wake of his (unexpected) losses to Pavlik and he's having to gamble to re-establish himself. Where he goes if he does lose I'm not sure...

If Taylor thought Froch was better, this fight wouldn't be happening. Indeed, if he thought Froch was anywhere near as good as him it wouldn't be happening either.

I think he's wrong; Froch by late fight KO/TKO.

Love him or hate him, a character like Froch is just what boxing needs. Also, some of you seem to take to much out of Froch's speech. All he says is that he is the better man in comparison to Taylor. That is called confidence, the most important thing a boxer needs. Without it, he may aswell not turn up.

He doesn't say anything about being a better boxer than Taylor, i think you Froch haters are more delusional than us Froch fans.

Taylor is clearly the favourite going into the fight, but is he really that bankable? Nobody here knows what Froch is capable of against a world-class opponent (me included), so why not save the slagging off until after the fight. That's if there will be any slagging off to do.

Froch's underdog status matched with the brash confidence senses an upset.

Froch, you had a tough time against a green Pascal, I just dont see you being dominant in this fight. You should have did like all the Europeans and milked your title across the pond.

I would be very surprised if Froch won.

He can't outbox Taylor and I don't even give him a punchers chance really, His power isn't that good imo, Taylor does have a good chin. i do see Froch winning couple of the late rounds though because Taylor doesn't have the best stamina.

Taylor's jab and bow and arrow right hand will land at will though.

He will win a clear UD.

                  Until he used the jab.

Froch has a very good jab, he just doesn't use it often enough. As soon as he used it against Pascal, he controlled the fight. If he has any sense, he will look at that fight tape and realize this.

IMO his jab isn't good enough to be much of a tool against Taylor, who has seen far better examples (Pavlik, Wright), and the fact that Froch shoots it from his waist should give Taylor ample opportunity to land his right hand over the top. Admittedly Taylor does show some weakness against opponents with good jabs; I just don't think Froch's falls into that category.

I'm not ruling out a late KO for Froch, but that's his only hope in this fight. If he comes in hoping to outbox Taylor, he will have already lost it.

Froch has never had his chin tested against a former pound 4 pound boxer and he is going to get the ****ing **** beat out of him! Taylor TKO5
