i think he should fight both because styles make fights so even if one beats the other one and the the one that won losses to mayweather doesnt mean the one that lost prior wont beat mayweather

BPP is pulling the PPV card, and you know that Mosley is not a bigger raw than Cotto, like or not.

He would look silly fighting the #2 Welter at this point, rather than the #1.

That's not how I interpret his post, I think he meant that in order to redeem himself for the Marg defeat, he needs to beat Clottey. He can't fight Marg anyway, the guy's banned. (And anyone willing to break the ban by fighting him in Tijuana is a disgrace to the sport, IMO).

And like I said, PBF is comming back in june, so Cotto'Clotey will happend anyways before any Cotto-Floyd fight. And since Pac and hatton are fighting on may 2, guess who Floyd is going to pick for his fight in june?

Maybe none of those, he's reportedly going to have a tune-up fight in June.

i dont agree with mosley is the champ cause cotto beat mosley marg beat cotto and mosley beat marg so thers a triangle theory since marg is out the picture he has to beat cotto to be da man and cotto has to beat him again to be the man but first hes gotta beat clottey

Exactly. If your the best you should prove it by beating everybody, by laying it all on the line. Not by letting everybody else knock each other off and THEN taking on the last man standing.

As of now, PBF has a lot of catching up to do. His inactivity made him fall behind a bit and gave way to other fighters to move up. He needs to fight:

- Tune-up
- JMM/Pacquiao (regardless of the outcome of his fight with Hatton)
- Cotto/Mosley (before Cotto - Mosley/Margarito rematch)

And if he's still up for it do a little division clean up; ASSUMING he wins all these fights.

This is my problem with Mayweather.....he won't fight a top welter after that. He'll sit back and cherry pick and his fans will call him the greatest thing since sliced bread. The guy is a waste of greatness.

I will agree with you if he fights Pac and then retires again without fighting a top Welter first. But I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
