Beat Mosley or Cotto, actually if he fought either of those two he would get respect.

like i said in the other thread,
people are going to have to learn to give respect where respect is due.
Floyd has done something that hardly nobody has ever done.
Walk away from the sport on top, and people cant stand it.
He is like barry sanders in that reguard.
He left when they was no doubt who the best was and is.

Their is no unfinish business, because their are no undisputed champions out there to fight.

The only fight that makes sense right now is Pacquaio. because he is the pound 4 pound #1 fighter in the sport.
everybody else in the sport need to make a name for themselves.
move up 4 weight classes, AND BECOME A Undisputed Champion in 3 Divisions (The Ring Belt)

and then ask for a fight.

I say floyd only comes back to fight Pacquaio or a undisputed champion in a division.

        PERIOD.

If he took a JMM tune up and then faced Pac (Which is my dream fight) I'll be happy enough! Pac vs Mayweather is the Whitaker vs JCC or the Duran vs SRL, know what I mean? It'll be HUGE

Okay, i think Mayweather is a Great Boxer. But to me for a great boxer to become a legend, they have to take great challenges in their careers that they were against all odds. Mayweather has failed to do that, and until then, i think he is overrated. He fights for safety, not for legacy. So how do we actually know he is that great?????

and the racism **** i ****** to say because he is black. My favorite boxer right now is Bernard Hopkins, and he is the blackest you can get. Im mexican/filipino. I give credit to where it is due, and Mayweather doesn't deserve full credit in my book.

If he was to come back and 2 of the following three fighters (Pacquiao, Mosley, Cotto) then he would get my respect, win or lose. Thats why De La Hoya gets more respect out of me then Mayweather, because all he did was fight the best time after time. Win or Lose.

Personally, I think he is a brilliant boxer, the greatest of his era, but his resume lacks. If he beats his tune-up, beats the Hatton/Pacquiao winner and beats a top WW, how can anyone hate on him?

What does everyone think he will do?
floyd can fight jmm as tune and then fight pac; but he should fight the winner of cotto/mosley.

If he fights JMM the winner of Hatton-Pacquiao, Mosley and Cotto, win or lose, theres no way to hate him if he does that.

I agree with S a m u r a i, I have mad respect for his skills, he have true great skills, but his lack of proving how great he is, is what keeps me on the non fan side. Plus the way he carries hmself, saying his greater than Robinson and Ali and his childish acts, its what makes me dislike him. I hate that type of personality, thats why I hated HEctor Camacho.

Anyways if he fights does guy I mentined above, or atleast Pacquiao and either Mosley or Cotto, hell get my respect as a fan!!!!!!!!!!!!

                    Agree.

And I highlighted the important point for me. I don't even care if he loses, just make the fights that matter. My favorite fighter lost 19 fights. I don't think any less of him because of that.

That, and he needs to take on a real challenge.

And also stop claiming to be greater than the true greats such as Robinson and Ali.

Anything BUT how "great" he is or his skin color, basically.
Stop fulling yourself. Barry Sanders was on the Worst team in the NFL and was the best running back in the league for probably his whole career.

Floyd just barely started getting the top spot when he pot shot the DLH win. That wasn't to long ago.
Barry Sanders knew he wasn't going to win a Super Bowl because the organization ******, and he wasn't the type of guy to ask for a trade or go all crazy. He just called it quits, and walked away from the sport without nobody having any idea.
Floyd retired twice now and probably is going to retire a third time.

                      BIG DIFFERENCE
