What does Mayweather have to do to earn everyone's respect?

Floyd is presumably fighting a tune-up (JMM?) then the winner of Hatton/Pacquiao. At least, that's what everybody thinks. If he wins both fights, will the haters give him respect? Or does he HAVE TO fight Cotto or Mosley?

Personally, I think he is a brilliant boxer, the greatest of his era, but his resume lacks. If he beats his tune-up, beats the Hatton/Pacquiao winner and beats a top WW, how can anyone hate on him?

What does everyone think he will do?

It's impossible. They hate him BECAUSE of how great he is. And many of them hate him because of his skin color. Let's face it, racism is rampant in the boxing world. Floyd isn't going to stop being great and he can't change his skin color, so there's nothing he can to do make them respect him. He's already earned the respect, they just won't give it to him no matter what he does.

I already respect Floyd. He should fight Pac-Hatton winner, fight mosley, and fight Cotto- Margarito 2 winner.

Stop fighting exhibition type fights... and take on a real challenge.. I do NOT think he will lose to anyone.. But he can test himself much more than seems to be willing..
In short he needs to stop talking about great he is.. and start showing us

Here is what I posted in another thread:

                If Floyd fights and beats....

Cotto - He was ruined by Margarito. (Or by plaster according to the morons.)

Margarito - He was ruined by Mosley, he ain't **** without plaster

Mosley - He was too old.

Williams - He was weight drained

Pac - Too small and overrated.

JMM - Too small and overrated.

If Floyd comes back, his haters will never give him credit anyway.
Some people will never give him his due. I don't want to look like a nuthugger or anything, but the fact that he's undefeated and at the top of the sport is a gift and a curse for Floyd.

That's not true. I don't like his personality outside the ring. Granted, he is very skilled, but he acts like a ****.

That, and he needs to take on a real challenge.

And also stop claiming to be greater than the true greats such as Robinson and Ali.

Anything BUT how "great" he is or his skin color, basically.

Calling Marquez a tune-up is insulting.
