Hell no. Floyd has nothing to gain by beating Mosely at this point. If he comes back it has to be for Pac or Cotto. Or even like you said, someone much bigger like a Pavlik. Imagine if it was Floyd who had done to Kelly what B-hop did. He would be a God by now.

Mayweather and Mosley not fighting was just bad timing. Mayweather asked for a Mosley fight in the late 90s, at least publicly (and Mosley's camp publicly asked for $10 mil), but the time period of Mayweather winning the title @ 130 and Mosley leaving 135 for 147 was short anyway. Mayweather won in October 1998, and Mosley's last fight @ 135 was 6 months later. He went to 147 to chase a big money fight with DLH.

In 2006, now I doubt Mosley actually cared more about his dental appointments and family vacations (come on, his ex-wife was his business manager) than fighting Mayweather. And I doubt Mayweather, who has longed for big events and big paydays, would've rather have fought Baldomir than a much bigger name in Mosley. But DLH was gonna fight Mayweather, and Mosley works for DLH and Schaefer. So Mosley had to sit that one out.

And following Mayweather's win over DLH, Mosley was talking about a Mayweather fight in internet interviews and all, but who were the ones talking negotiations? Hatton and Mayweather. Their camp had been in negotiations long before Hatton upped the hype by talking about PBF being boring in his post-fight interview after KO-ing Castillo. Hatton is a GBP fighter, and GBP and HBO put more backing in a mega money-maker that made Las Vegas look like Manchester for that weekend, with Hatton's incredibly loyal fanbase.

Neither guy's fault really. Just bad timing and other mega fights getting in the way.

since when did floyd become the pound for pound list? people who dont fight will not be on that list, and if you suddenly fight again, you are not automatically be the #1 on that list. only fools will think that way, fighters not on that list work they're way up by fighting top competition, not hyping themselves. its funny how these nuthuggers think lolz

ok guys PBF will fight again, you know what that means. Have your PSP's(Playstation Portable) beside you in case your feeling drousy or sleepy watching him run and dance all over the ring specially if he is fighting another counter pouncher lolz. PBF is boring, the only way his fights will be exciting is if his opponent carries the excitement. why do PBF's nuthuggers always want to see him fight? lolz

the only fighters that can deal with floyd are pacquiao, cotto, mosley or marquez..

lol, for your own sanity, you better pray Mayweather doesn't fight Cotto. Oh you're going to be just as disappointed after he fought Margarito, except there won't be a handwrap scandal to indulge yourself in.
