    does someone who hits a heavybag everyday have more power than the average guy??

    trying to prove my friend wrong..he's fat and thinks cause he weighs alot he automaticaly has power..and says hitting the bag doesnt improve power

    Yes it does. I remember hearing George Foreman would hit the heavy back for more then an hour and look at him, some people consider him the hardest punching H.W

                Hitting the bag improves both your technique and knowledge of how to transfer your body movement/weight into actual power, so if you were to ask me if someone who hits a bag often has more power in his shots than a similar person who doesn't, then I'd say yes.

                    I'd say no in terms of the actual power of your punch, so that's why I voted no, but with actual technique while hitting on the bag, then yes.

                    But like if I hit the big 100 times in a row, I'm not gonna get stronger. However throwing punches and punches actually does help make you stronger, but that's just from the snap of the punches over and over.
