Who is the better fighter Whitaker or Mayweather based on achievement ? reason i say based on achievement is, because how else can you judge a fighter? you cant judge him on what you think he was capable of.......... so its a case of what have you done. Not coulda woulda shoulda.

I can't say who has the better defense, defense and counter punching go hand in hand and Mayweather > Pernell at that...Not to mention Pernell got dropped many times, due to getting hit while off balance and showboating. When Pernell faught serious, he was very hard to hit. So defense I say a tie, Pernell's display of defense was more entertaining to watch

Footwork...I'll say a tie because Mayweather's footwork at 130 was insane, dude could quickly get out of harms way and Pernell is one of the best fighters going backwards

Oh most definitely! Pernell is better on the inside, look at DLH and Tito, they were very uncomfortable having 5'5 Whitaker on the inside, Whitaker like B-Hop is very crafty on the inside. Not to mention, he was a GREAT body puncher. It was hard to deal with the guy popin that jab in your face, then when you got in, he'd throw the meanest body punches

NOBODY would "school" Pernell Whitaker and that includes Floyd. BTW,Mayweather was paid 8 million for Baldimer,not 5. You should have done your own homework.
