IMO, Vitali is the more exciting fighter out of the two...but again, Heavyweight boxing is a shell of its former self (and that's being nice).

Its one of those fights where if you're home...you'll watch it. But I wouldn't be canceling plans or speeding home to see it.

Maybe they got a good deal?

Personally, I think their Friday Night Fights should get more coverage, like live weigh-ins and in-studio appearances. I think that would be great for the sport.

You say Vitali is fighting I get goosebumps. Whoever said Tyson was the most electrifying heavyweight never saw the Klits.
Nobody compared him to a prime Tyson, but I bet he would have beaten a prime Tyson. Buster is nowhere near Vitali Klitschko's level and managed to beat Iron Mike.

You are entitled to your opinion, but the sarcasm is a lil' overboard.

That's my opinion. Take it for what yall will.

I agree, it's going to be fight fans only on Saturday.
HBO and SHO were both uninterested because the parties envolved were not willing to make the fight in prime time in the USA. Otherwise it would have definitely been aired. ESPN stepped up and they are promoting the fight in full force on the website now. They should have a killer commercial out too and they might. If they do now, I have not seen it yet.

See what they should have done is had Hasim Rahman vs Shannon Briggs for the vacant wbf heavyweight title, then they would be promoting the **** out of it.

....Well, there have been 3 different articles on ESPN's website over the last several days so the coverage is picking up a bit.

The little preview on their website was pretty well done.

When was the last time ESPN televised a heavyweight title fight? What a joke!!! Maybe it's the competing NCAA tourney coverage or something.
Boxing fan til i die, unfortunately, NCAA final 4 brings in more viewers therefore mo $$$$$. The changing it to another channel is fine, but the time change is what pisses me off.....i'm going to end up watching it on some ****ty buffering every 10 seconds sopcast/stream.....

this was really wack from hbo and showtime, cause this is a pretty big fight, it has all of the potential to be a very entartaining fight and they will regret not showing it
