He picks an OLD legend who shouldnt even be fighting anymore, has him move up in weight, and then batters him. Yeah, what a ****ing champ Khan is. How about fighting someone good who is prime? Beating up a shot (and I said this BEFORE THE FIGHT and picked Khan to win) and smaller man who was great A LONG TIME AGO doesnt make Khan ****. Until he beats a good fighter that is prime and his same weight, Khan isnt ****.

Alot of people may disagree with this post but I think it has something to do with deep seated racism of the british. Especially in this day and age where Islam and ******s are getting so much **** from the media.

I know so many people who really dislike Khan for no apparent reason, now Im not saying these people are racist, well I dont know, maybe I am saying they are. Just not the blatantly obvious type of racist.

Same thing with prince naseem, loads of people hated him, although he was one ****y b*stard I suppose

I mean his attitude is what we need in boxing, atleast he have the balls and the willingness to be great. He chose a fight that he didnt had to take, i mean it was almost a no win situation for him, and he still won the fight with not that much to gain and with a lot to lose.

              Give the guy a chance!!!!!!!!!!
totally agree!! from getting ko`d by an unknown 2 fights ago to going in with and (lets not make any excuses about cuts!!) dominating the legend that is barrera!!!
WELLL DONE AMIR!!! RESPECT IS DUE!!
there will always be haters and doubters(especially if ur a british fighter)
but nobody including jmm + pac-man has done that to barrera!
LMFAO!!!! TO ALL THE KAHN HATERS!!! HA HA!! U KNOW WHO U R!

kahns still young + early in his career!, frm being kod 2 fights ago by an unknown to dominating MAB i think is pretty a impressive comeback!
nobody thinks hes ready for jmm or pac-man but kahn looked great tonight!!
after all the **** he has taken and criticism! i think he desereves alot of credit for a dominant perforance over a legend! (lets b honest!,the cut saved barrera from a ko/brutal tko)
                WELL DONE AMIR!!!!!

Naz said he was the next Ali. That nobody could beat him. He had long, drawn out ring walks that pissed off alot of us old school fans. He made a name for himself beating nobody, then stepped up and lost, then quit. He earned every bit of hate he got. The racism crutch is getting very old.

Khan has always been hated on here as far as I can tell. Even before the Prescott fight, I can not really recall to much positive said about him.

I thought Khan would beat Prescott because Prescott looked like garbage against that one bum on FNF (it was the fight before the Khan fight, but I forget the guy), so that lose damaged him in my eyes.

I really did not have to much faith in Khan going into the fight because of Prescott but I knew Barrera fought nothing like him and was a much smaller man who has not been a feared puncher in a couple divisions let alone lightweight.

I am mildly more interested in him after the Barrera win, but he needs to show me more.

                      Look, read and comprehend.

There is NO hype of Khan. Where do you see it? It pales into insignificance compared to all the HATE he gets around here.

You hardly hear people saying "he is great, he has potential, he'll be world champion" etc.

All you hear is "I hope he gets knocked out, he has a glass chin, he is ****, someone will spark him" etc etc etc

IT's unfair because the boy has worked his backside off to get into this position. He deserves the success but because he is a little confident (****iness; look up Hamed, Khan is not that) and ******, Pakistan and successful people hate him.
