LOL! Frank Warren must have been very happy with the way he helped Hatton against Tszyu. I'm surprised Barrera's people let him in the ring with a ref that is so blatantly on the take.

Let's make this interesting, I feel like this fight should've been stopped at the beginning of the 4th round and declared a No Decision. And that possibility should not of been taken into account by the referee or the doctor. What round should of this fight been stopped if it all?

Well because it would have resulted in a NC.

barrera clearly didnt want to quit. Im not saying that it should of carried on after the first but when barrera was asked im sure he shaked his head. No point in a rematch unless its at 135lbs or less wich it wont be. I had khan to get blasted out but i was wrong and in a rematch khan wins by tko.

That's incorrect. The previous cut was in a completely different place and it had healed OK.

The reason it was not stopped because if they stopped it in the 2nd everyone including the Khan haters would be pretty ticked off since everyone was looking forward to it, and people would demand there money back because the undercards weren't looking to good for the brits.

Even without the cut I can't see him doing anything to Khan anyway looked like DLH - Pacman all over again

It was unfortunate, but wasn't planned and Khan made the best of the situation.

A No Decision doesn't advance the career of Amir Khan but this win does. This fight should've been stopped in the second round. I think Amir Khan looked quick, technically superior, and overall a better fighter than we have ever seen him. And Barrera is an idiot for taking a fight against a bum before this one and his skin was obviously still torn from the previous fight. I don't know what to think of this fight, but I do know that this fight shouldn't of been stopped in the 5th round.
barrera was asked if he wanted to go on by the doctor in round one or two
and he said yes. why i don't know.
no doubt don king got a rematch clause for barrera.
king gets like 5 more fights out of barrera. you better believe king got his crystal ball out well before this fight and got things mapped out with frank warren.

The crowd is not taken into account, nor should them asking for they're money back. Only the health of the fighter and his ability to continue to fight is at stake. He had the same ability to fight in the 1st round than in the 5th. And the other response was that Barrera wanted to continue. Of course he did and the only type of fighter who asks out of fights are quitters like Guerrero and Golota. Barrera fights on, but its not his decision, it is the referee and doctor's decision to think for the fighter and on behalf of the fighter.

Except he chose to continue (He was in discomfort and knew he had a long hard road ahead of actually getting a win and showed a heart of a warrior)

but how can anyone be concerned about his health and his abilty when the fighter himself is very well aware or the risks he is taking (not semi conscious maybe a bit frustrated and distracted) and still issuing an arguement to continue.

He didn't show any signs of not wanting to continue in the state he was in, so in the end it was down to Barrera, because the cut he had and if he said he wanted it stopped, they couldn't really argue.
