Khan did look very quick tonight and unless getting knocked cold, he would of won easily. I just feel very strongly that the decision to stop the fight the fight in the 5th and not earlier was very poor. And if it was Khan instead of Barrera who was cut they would have stopped the fight, too much was on the line already for Khan and they could've done a rematch later if that was the case.

All Barrera had to do was say, "I can't see" and they would of stopped the fight earlier. Robert Guerrero did it last week when he fought Daud Yordan.

Barrera isn't a ***** like Guerrero. He is a true fighter and would fight through anything. But it's not up to him to fight or not its up to the doctor and the referee. He could've begged out of the fight like Guerrero but thats not in him.

It should have been stopped earlied. They wanted it to go past the 4th round because a win would advance Khan's career. Parris was doing his part to help the Frank Warren fighter.

But stuff like this happens everywhere. The ref in the John-Juarez fight let Juarez punch when he was separating them, and the judges robbed John of a deserved win. And the ref in the Cintron-Martinez fight robbed him of a KO win and later deducted a point for nothing, then two of the judges had ridiculous scores.

All top UK fighters will be exposed... Manny would murder Hatton and when Khan fights any top 5 lightweights he would get stopped.

We'll have to agree to disagree on the cut point. In light of if you've fought I will respect youre opinion tho I dont have to agree with it. i think khan wud never have been stoppped until it was absolutely ridiculous. The refs wudve have given him every chance to come back and i think then UK refs cud be accused of bias I just think that the cut wasnt as horrific as everyone makes it out to be ( no doubt it was nasty). I just think the stoppage wudve put off the inevitable. Khan had youth on his side. I'll repeat that MAb has nothing but my respect he just got beat by someone who had too much for him at his age it happens all the time to legends. Once he got proper sparked by Pacquiao the sensible decision wud be to call it a day but fighters will only call it a day when theyre ready. Not when everyone around them tells them.

By no means am I saying Barrera doesn't lose this fight if it goes on. My question to you is this, If the cut wasn't that bad than why was it stopped?
and Second if it was bad enough for the fight to be stopped than, Why was it stopped in the 5th round and not in the 4 previous rounds as the cut was exactly the same?

I honestly dont know, you'd have to ask the doctors that question, these guys are professionals and have their reputation at stake so I will usuallytake their judgement as it is. Maybe they thought MAb could recuperate and continue? I wouls shy away from saying its all a big conspiracy to make him get to the 5th than call it off, even if it was as you said he wudve continued to hit him. Theres enough people over here in the boxing community that wud love to see Amir fail. I am just calling the fight as if i had never heard of both of them before.

I will reply to what you have to say but its 3.30 in the morning here so I may pass out fairly soon so my reply might be delayed.

I am not saying its a conspiracy, hopefully just bad refereeing and doctoring. I actually like Khan as a fighter, as long as he keeps progressing defensively. I just feel for me, I have alot of questions about the process of stopping the fight when it was stopped. I just hate fights that leave me with more questions than answers.
