i see mora giving pavlik some trouble with movement, and a little speed early, but i'd think pavlik would get him eventually. terrible fight though. no one wants it.

Arum said some time ago that Sauerland asks for about $2 million plus German TV rights. Then it fired back at him as Sauerland stated publicly via ESPN and Setanta UK that he was asking nowhere near that kind of purse. Furthermore and to the understanding of a lot of boxing experts worldwide, Pavlik is like the springboard for Abraham, the chance to make serious money statesside IF he beats Pavlik but this is his big chance. And therefore camp Abraham said that they would take a shortcut for both exposure in the US (they were in talks of a main supporting bout to Pavlik's next) and the fight vs. Pavlik.
Though, I believe that such a plan would have included the term that if both AA and Pavlik would win in such a scenario (Pavlik main event, AA on the undercard), both would have to face each other next and this is what Arum does not have liked.
Btw, such plans (Pavlik ME, Abraham undercard) were mentioned by both camps late last month after Pavlik's win, but after Sauerland said he would talk about those plans with Top Rank, Arum was backpaddling this week saying, that 1. Abraham is too expensive for an undercard bout (look up my post for this being an excuse) and 2. Abraham must take care of himself and that Arum isn't responsible to expose him to the US public.
Sounds like a double standard when he first talked about AA needing a proper build-up before a fight vs. Pavlik, even saying that he'll talk to Sauerland.
Beside all this, HBO and SHO have a list of opponents they would except for Pavlik to face on their respective network and AA and Sturm are on top of that list. Duddy is also on that list with Vernon Forrest being out of it due to the prospect of facing Sergio Martinez in July/August which he is said having committed to...
So now, everyone can make up their mind on the whole situation with knowing those facts...
