yeah and she's an imposing figure, 'bout 5'11'', 185lbs, straight crusier homie, would take some margarito hand wraps to drop her.

i agree Mora doesnt deserve it, but if theres no one else to fight, then what????

Also i think Mora if he can take his speed to Middleweight he can give pavlik some trouble. Pavlik is very slow and mora is very elusive.

ANd, dont blame Mora for taking the fight. Thats ******. You think a fighter would turn down a chance at being a champion when hes barely top ten?

This is true. A guy who is slick and can move is the only kind of fighter we have seen beat Kelly. It wont matter much, though, because Mora is no Hopkins.

Maybe someone should tell his challengers to step up and make the fight happen.

OK, so we are to believe no one else is available, actually they say the other two champions aren't available because they are asking for too much money to fight here in the USA and Pavlik will not go to Germany to fight...So I guess these so called "champions" will never fight.......Gone is the day when it meant alot to a fighter to be called the undisputed champion of their division. Go ask Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns, Hagler,Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, (etc...etc...) what it meant to them.

So Arum picks Mora, who has done absolutely NOTHING to deserve a shot at the middleweight championship of the world........ Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there supposed to be a list of rated top ten contenders for each governing body ( ie WBC,IBF,WBA & WBO)...

What happened to guys in a division fighting their way up the ranks to get a title shot...It would seem to me that Pavlik could and should defend the titles against legit middleweight contenders.......If Rubio was the #1 contender, then the middleweight division is in SAD SAD shape........

Here is a list of the so called contenders for the WBO & WBC titles respectively, the biggest problem is that these fighters are not known by the public, which explains why a guy like Mora gets a chance....

              WBO
              1. Sebastian Zbik
              2. John Duddy

All this talk that Abraham's camp demanding too much money is bs.

Arum said some time ago that Sauerland asks for about $2 million plus German TV rights. Then it fired back at him as Sauerland stated publicly via ESPN and Setanta UK that he was asking nowhere near that kind of purse. Furthermore and to the understanding of a lot of boxing experts worldwide, Pavlik is like the springboard for Abraham, the chance to make serious money statesside IF he beats Pavlik but this is his big chance. And therefore camp Abraham said that they would take a shortcut for both exposure in the US (they were in talks of a main supporting bout to Pavlik's next) and the fight vs. Pavlik.

Though, I believe that such a plan would have included the term that if both AA and Pavlik would win in such a scenario (Pavlik main event, AA on the undercard), both would have to face each other next and this is what Arum does not have liked.

Btw, such plans (Pavlik ME, Abraham undercard) were mentioned by both camps late last month after Pavlik's win, but after Sauerland said he would talk about those plans with Top Rank, Arum was backpaddling this week saying, that 1. Abraham is too expensive for an undercard bout (look up my post for this being an excuse) and 2. Abraham must take care of himself and that Arum isn't responsible to expose him to the US public.
Sounds like a double standard when he first talked about AA needing a proper build-up before a fight vs. Pavlik, even saying that he'll talk to Sauerland.

Beside all this, HBO and SHO have a list of opponents they would except for Pavlik to face on their respective network and AA and Sturm are on top of that list. Duddy is also on that list with Vernon Forrest being out of it due to the prospect of facing Sergio Martinez in July/August which he is said having committed to...

So now, everyone can make up their mind on the whole situation with knowing those facts...
