Most boxing fans were throwing shoes at their computers when BoxingScene.com broke the news of Kelly Pavlik's probable summer opponent, Sergio Mora (21-1-1, 5 KOs). The last time we saw Mora, last September, he was getting his head knocked in for twelve rounds by junior middleweight champion Vernon Forrest. Mora's reward for that beating is a major title shot against a much bigger and stronger fighter. If the fight gets finalized next week, it would take place on June 20, July 18 or July 25 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. [details]

I didn't mean the fight will be competitive but the herky jerky movement of Mora could throw off Pavlik for a round or two, I'm sure Mora will try to move a lot to Pavlik's left to avoid the right hand, which he probably can do better than Rubio did, but Pavlik should win this one without much difficulty, this could just be a little more competitive than the Rubio fight.

This fight is a joke. Having said that I don't like Mora and would quite like to see him murdered so I will still look forward to seeing it. Undeserving prick that he is.

Sergio Mora is fairly agile, and he definitely could pose a problem for a while. But same here, Pavlik doesn't have much firepower to worry about so it shouldn't be a surprise if Mora gets beaten.
