AA's camp just offered strum millions for a fight in germany, and they turned it down.......say what you want, but it takes 2 parties to make a fight happen, everybody is getting on pavlik's case when arum just said abraham and strum want too much money to fight pavlik over here.......why should it be up to pavlik to go to germany to fight either guy, if he's the champ???

GTFOH, quit hating. strum ducks everybody, and last time i checked AA isn't fighting a serious challenger either. so until either of those guys come out publicly and say they challenged pavlik, and made an offer he couldn't refuse, get off the man's back. as far as i'm concerned, AA and strum are just as much to blame for the fights not going down, if not more so.

Good post, but all the drama queens on here that are currently gargling AA nuts would rather cry that he is being ducked and Pavlik only wants to fight opponents who pose no risk. Funny how light the bandwagon got after one fight with one of the best middleweights of all time. Hopkins would have killed AA if it was him in the ring the night he fought Pavlik.

Speaking of AA, who the **** has he fought besides Miranda who shattered his jaw and was a shell of his former self the second time they squared off? AA's resume is a joke, talk about taking the path of least resistance...

As for the Mora fight, if you bothered to read the full article instead of the excerpt posted on this site, you would know that Kelly was not aware that Arum was making the fight and heard the news from Joe Scalzo, a local reporter.

Pavlik fought the best in the division on his way to the top and as far as AA and Sturm are concerned, it "takes two to tango". The unification will happen, right now none of the parties involved seem to be interested in much more than lip service at this point.

That all being said, IMO Arum is a piece of **** scumbag who is doing absolutely nothing to help the sport of boxing.

Most boxing fans were throwing shoes at their computers when BoxingScene.com broke the news of Kelly Pavlik's probable summer opponent, Sergio Mora (21-1-1, 5 KOs). The last time we saw Mora, last September, he was getting his head knocked in for twelve rounds by junior middleweight champion Vernon Forrest. Mora's reward for that beating is a major title shot against a much bigger and stronger fighter. This fight is a disgrace. How can you call yourself the undisputed middleweight champion by fighting bums that are smaller than you?I had know problem with the Rubio fight because Pavlik had just came off a tough loss.But this here is terrible.The credits were crucifying Jermaine Taylor when he fought two jr middleweights.After this, Pavlik should be forced to fight Sturm and Abraham.
