Right now I would probably be tipping Dawson, but Prime vs Prime I would definitely pick Hopkins... no question. However I voted Dawson because the question was for right now.

      Craftiness won't help Hopkins here.

Chad is no Jermain Taylor..he's faster..stonger and SMARTER.

Dawson moves better than anyboy Hops has faced in a LONG while..not to mention the power and speed Chad brings.

The ridiculous excuse Hopkins made for not fighting Chad only proves that he wants no parts of him.

It's not about you saying wow.

Hopkins doesn't want this fight for a REASON...He'd rather fight the guy that LOST to Dawson..Adamek.

          But Chad doesn't slap.

He throws punches to the head and body that Hopkins would have to respect.

no more than Joe's excuse for not being "Motivated" to give Hopkins a rematch. Ironically being motivated to face mediocre fighters in a poor division for a decade.

Mate, Hopkins is 44. If he is going to face Chad Dawson, he may aswell face Glen Johnson, Tarver etc. all again. Maybe even Taylor.

But it's pointless. He is 44, and probably has only 1 more bout left. Hopkins has never ducked anyone, so why would he "duck" Dawson?

Besides, imo, i would like to see Hopkins-RJJ 2 as a farewell bout. But RJJ has been ducking Hopkins for 15 years, i guess that is not going to happen
