I think Dawson. Too quick and too high a workrate for Hopkins at his age. Chad is no Pavlik.

I agree with you. But I still see people saying how Bernard is just to crafty for Dawson. Most people think he lost to Glen johnson.

It is not impossible that Bernard wins it, I just see it as unlikely.

I thought the Dawson-Johnson fight was clearly 7-5 in favour of Dawson myself.

I see people still can't figure out the kind of people Hopkins has problems with.

Mobile, athletic fighters with a high-work rate. And Chad Dawson might be the most mobile and dynamic fighter above 168.

Chad Dawson UD. NO ****in' QUESTION!

I don't know. Hopkins would have problems with Dawson's speed, Dawson would have problems with Hopkins' experience and craftiness, I think it would be a close decision that could go either way.

And the workrate factor could be smaller than we think because Hopkins had a thyroid problem when he fought Winky and Calzaghe which cleared up before the Pavlik fight, his workrate was much better against Pavlik, part of that was dur to Pavlik's style but I think part of it was due to that thyroid problem clearing up.

Hopkins wins. Dawson hasn't done anything that made me say WOW yet.

His dominance over Adamek for 10 rounds certainly made me say wow.

at this point in bhops career i would lean towards chad ... dawsons quick, athletic, throws in bunches and has a real good workrate. i think he would take this one by outpointing and tiring bhop ... but obviously bhop alwaysa has an excellent chance in whatever fight hes in so it wouldnt surprise me in the least for him to win this one either ...
