Officially Taylor won those fights and there was no clear winner. My point was Taylor is not on Dawson's level as far as quickness, versatility, boxing or even size so if Hopkins couldn't out smart Jermaine hes definitely not out smarting Dawson. And what triangle theory? I already said that Hopkins is not fighting anyone one dimensional( such as Kelly).

agree with that - the minute that hopkins said he didn't want no part of dawson i knw that dawson could beat him. botomline if dawson was as one dimensional as pavlik the fight would have already been signed.

If they ever fight, and they should, Bhop would whoop on Bad Chad. If They fought 10 years ago, Bhop would definitely knock him out. But triple OG BHOP probably would just whoop on him for 12 rounds. Dawson's tough though. It'd be a good fight. I just think Hopkins has too much experience.

I haven't seen any hype to be perfectly honest. We don't see a lot of Dawson signatures, threads about him every day or even talked about that much. Actually i was the first one to ever put him in my avatar on this forum( 2 years ago). If he was hyped up he would be leading in the poll to beat Hopkins, and so far its a landslide. I just can't how having WBC,IBF,IBO titles, beating Adamek and 3 or 4 other top 10 light heavyweights is being hyped up. He has proved himself.

Its because hes with show time. Their fighters don't normally get wide recognition and press unless they go over to HBO( which they normally do) because its the bigger network. His rematch against Tarver is on HBO, and if he looks impressive, he will start to blow up.
