P4P list don't mean anything. Period. The ring's doesn't mean anymore than yours are mine other then the fact that they publish it in a magazine.

By the way, am I still on the ignorant fool list or whatever?

      That is their opinion.

There is no such thing as an expert on these type of things.

The ring might have more clout than anyone here, but that dont mean their opinion is any more correct than mine or anyone elses. We all have different criteria. Even, if we have the same list it still dont make it so, because its a mythical title. They dont know what happens, if fighter A fights fighter B so how can they rank them decisively?

P4P list is the worst thing ever invented in Boxing. Jones and Mayweather have exploited it to the fullest aswell.

How is someone going to tell me who i should rate/think is the best fighter in the world lol

        Did you check your thread?

I'm gonna disagree with you, D. Being #1 on the Ring's list means a hell of a lot more than some random person's on a forum.

Their opinions are more respected, not "correct".

Nobody is "going to tell me who i should rate/think is the best fighter in the world lol". Who said anything about that? Nobody. I'm just telling you how it works.

If fighter A beats fighter B, it doesn't mean fighter A is automatically better. You have to factor in their entire achievements. Hatton beating Pacquiao doesn't mean his entire career is better.

You're right, it does mean more, to the boxing world. But I don't think that the way they rank fighters is any better or any more accurate then if you or I did.

When you're universally regarded as the greatest P4P fighter in the world, you better believe it means something to the public.

Word it which way you like, its an opinion at the end of day.

Well, if i make a thread saying Mayweather wasn't the best fighter in the world at the time. Do your think people will tell me he was ? they would yes even though, its a mythical title, and there is no way of proving what they are trying to say.

It means something to the kids who take its seriously. They seem to think its factual. People with half a brain know, its just the media force feeding you what THEY believe.

                    I have my own opinion.

Of course it makes sense. FFS!

What you are saying makes no sense to me.

All I am saying is the Ring magazine's list means more than mine or yours. If a fighter happens to be #1 on their list, it's generally very close to popular opinion. What "P4P GOAT" or "Samurai" from Boxing Scene forums say doesn't mean ****.

Let's put it another way. I could say, and firmly believe, that Tye Fields is #1. That would be completely laughable.

Or I could say Manny Pacquiao is #1. His accomplishments are deserving of that spot. Anyone with sense can see this.
