Who will or wont rate Hatton P4P, if he beats Pacquiao ? I wont rate him as p4p even, if he does win, because he is simply not the best fighter in the world, and one win over a former flyweight wont change that.

Does the best fighter in the world struggle the way Hatton did against Urango,Collazo? does he almost get knocked out by feather fisted fighters like Collazo, lazcano?

I think he would move up to 5/6 on most lists. Definately not #1 though.

...hehehe...the excuses are already starting...even if Hatton destroy's Pacman there will be a line of people making excuses for why he's not a great fighter...I hated Larry Holmes with a passion and wanted him to get KTFO everytime I saw him fight...but he was the best at the time even though I didn't like him...sometimes you need to suck it up and give credit where credit is due...

JMM almost got knocked out by Juan Diaz, who isn't a great power puncher. Ricky definitely deserves consideration.

If Pacman is > JMM then logically if Hatton is > Pacman, Hatton > Marquez.

It won't work out that way for Hatton but it's logical.

Hattons fighting a smaller guy so he should win this fight.
If he wins then he has to fight Cotto or at leat go back up to 147 before he gets considered p4p.

errmm there is such a thing as improvement, you know. Also, I find it funny that you're already discrediting a Hatton victory over Pac, despite most people saying that Pac will be too good for him.

                Hatton
                Pacquaio

                  I'd guess he'd be around #5 on the RING's P4P list.

You mean P4P #1? I was confused by your wording in the poll, then it clicked you meant P4P #1.

The P4P ranking is NOT a lineal title. Why does Hatton suddenly go above Marquez, Hopkins, Vasquez and Mosley because of one fight?
