The cut was pretty bad but HONESTLY - i feel that Yordan caught him off guard. I dont think Guerrero was ready for that, seems like he was expecting some push over to get KOd in the first round.

I'm neither "OK" with it or outraged - I'm not really a fan of his but I'm sure the people who tuned in to see him were distraught.

I was dissapointed. Yeah the cut was bad, but it seemed like from the moment the doctor came to look at it, he was already saying he couldn't see and was looking for a way out. I agree with riz on this I think he thought Yordan was gonna be a push over, but he wasn't and I don't know if Guerrero was ready for that. Plus right before that's when they had that interview with him and he was saying how what his wife goes through is way tougher than his training and boxing then that situation happens. Also he was basically fighting in his hometown and many people came to see him. Not outraged or anything, but I felt it was dissapointing that didn't at least give it a shot.

          Thats how I feel.

He made a choice that was in his best interests, so I don't think anyone can fault him for that.

I think he could have at least tried to see what his corner could do to help it.

What probably happened was he knew he was in pretty tough, and didnt want to take the chance of losing. You could tell right away the guy he was fighting was going to be a handful.

It was disappointing fi anthing. I'm not going to kill him for it because it really was a bad gash in a bad place.
