Hello sir. I wanna say, I feel your pain. I feel you on Joe and I repsect Joe. Joe is a great fighter, and he is definately one of the best of his generation. He also, like Hopkins aged very well. And Joe did go undefeated. But at one point Roy was 49-0, had gone through 4 weight classes and dominated a heavyweight champ. I think Joe could of proved alot more by going up in weight a couple times.

If Oscar de la hoya stayed at 130 his entire career, hed be undefeated, If shane stays at 135 hed be undefeated. If Ricky Hatton stays at 140 hed be undefeated. See my point. There are alot of fighters that could be undefeated staying at one weight there whole career. Had Joe did what Roy did, well actually, Joe could not have done what Roy did.

I also feel that prime for prime Roy is much better than Joe. Joe had plenty of tuff fights in his prime. Roy never had a tough fight in his prime. Roy dominated prime Hop, where Joe fought 43 year old hop even. Now I know Joe wasn't prime either but Roy still was way more dominant that Joe.

Joe would not of been able to dominate Ruiz much less beat him.

I'd rank Joe between 2-5 of his era, but no way was he better than Roy Jones. I think he hurt himself staying at one weight. Roy conquered 4 and a heavyweight title.

Roy was fighter of the decade. Joe has the 0 and thats great, but he has a better record than Ali, but hes not better, and hes got a better record than Roy but hes wasn't better.

Today, right now, Joe is better than Roy.
But for 15 years, Roy was way better, against way better comp.

Ali was the king of the heavyweights and Joe likewise is god of his realm, so that automatically puts him up there with the greats like SRR and Ali.

People hate but they cant fk with Joe, they can't fk with him because hes the best boxer to pair a lace of gloves in the last 40 years. Especially the armchair fat yank critics; they probably piss themselves when they hear the name Joe. lol

Hopkins has lost 5 times and got whooped by Joe Calzaghe himself, no way in hell is he greater.
No worries though because the record stil stands; 46-0-0.

              not really.

waiting for some dumb brit to say ring magazine is biased and it's a yank magazine and that only americans get rated highly in the top 10 p4p.

they'll sound ****** as hell considering all the non-americans on that list recently and years past but they'll say it nonetheless.

I agree with most of that, but you might catch some trouble calling BHop prime when Jones fought him.

both were pretty even in experience. both were closer to their primes at that time certainly than the 40 and 43 yr. old versions who the great joe calzaghe fought.

Joe Calzaghe had an amazing amatuer career. It's too bad he never went pro.
