Ali was the king of the heavyweights and Joe likewise is god of his realm, so that automatically puts him up there with the greats like SRR and Ali.

People hate but they cant fk with Joe, they can't fk with him because hes the best boxer to pair a lace of gloves in the last 40 years. Especially the armchair fat yank critics; they probably piss themselves when they hear the name Joe. lol

Hopkins has lost 5 times and got whooped by Joe Calzaghe himself, no way in hell is he greater.
No worries though because the record stil stands; 46-0-0.

actually 50-0 if you don't take the DQ seriously which I don't.

according to your logic, Sosnowski is better than Muhammed Ali.

It doesn't matter what a fighter's record is, it's who you fought to obtain that record. I only view a record as a bunch of numbers, not as the value of a fighter.

Calzaghe's best win over a prime fighter is Kessler. It's pretty easy to obtain a record like that when you haven't fought anyone.
Too bad Calzaghe fans are too remedial to understand that they are constantly being owned by posts like this.

1993 - 2008 Oscar De la Hoya, Tito trinidad, Bernard Hopkins all better in my mind during that era...truely I think joe is a good fighter but much like an Arturo Gatti he fought in a protected enviroment against less then world class fighters. His best win over a prime fighter is Kessler...I will NOT knock Joe 46-0 is still not an easy task but when you consder some of the toehr fighters in his era and their records and who they fought then you have to put it in prospective.....Lefty
