Mayweather vs Marquez at 147 this year!

Like I always say Gayweather is scared ****less to fight a real welterweight and never will.

So who would you rather him fight? I would love to see him go at it against Cotto personally but I wish he would stay active. Fighting JMM isn't so bad. I would rather him fight JMM than Luis Collazo but thats just my opinion.

If the fight is at 140 i think it's floyd biggest challange to date but if it's at 147 then floyd is content being a snake oil salesman as usual.

Why should Floyd come down considiring he has been at 147 since the Gatti fight. Manny went up and fought De La Hoya and we all thought Manny will get humiliated. Didn't happen. When JMM tries to go up and fight Floyd we bash on Floyd. After Floyd beats JMM, Pacman, and Cotto or Mosley will you give him credit?

Why should JMM fight at 147 when he has never fought at 140? Why should he give all the advantages to floyd? because he called him out? The weight for the manny-oscar match up was also an clear advantage for manny where the weight advantage in this fight is a clear advantage for floyd.

JMM is not in the position to make demands to the great Floyd Mayweather. As a boxing fan I would rather watch fighters that fight more often. So a Floyd vs JMM fight at 147 is better than a non Floyd/JMM fighting each other.

You guys do realize that JMM was moving up to JrWW, right?

And when he moves up to JrWW, he will be fighting fighters that aren't actually JrWW/140 pound fighters by Fight-Time, right?
Like Pac who weighed in at 147 pounds against Diaz {LW}and is expected to weigh in at 147+ by fight-time against Hatton. And Hatton who weighs in at 149+ by fight-time.


All these guys are just good at pissing out lots of water weight and rehydrating.

And Floyd I guess is just to lazy to take a pill and drain his body of fluids and doesn't care for the I.V. treatment to put those fluids back in. Floyd ducks the I.V. treatment.


How about fighting the fighter and not the scales. What good is it if you have a sick man on the scales and he can't fight by fight-time?

Freddie Roach talked about having a "catch-weight" for Floyd if he were to fight Pac...why? because he wanted to "take something out of him if he could; make him work for it."


Like I said before, maybe it will be easier to find a JrWW that weighs in at 149 by fight-time instead of going through the trouble with JMM. This way, we can skip the bull**** charade of the trying to make weight on the scales and the fighters can just pop on the scales to make weight at 147/WW. Now you have two healthy fighters without the risk of showing up "flat" because they couldn't rehydrate in time.

Floyd fighting JMM at 147, making him jump two whole weight classes after he just jumped one, is a complete joke. And if Floyd actually goes through with this, so is he.

How in the hell do you give Floyd credit for winning a title at 154 and then make excuses for him not fighting anyone at 147 (only 17 pounds above the weight he turned pro at over 12 years ago,) with a pulse?
