Yep, sounds about right: a 35-year old featherweight who recently got rocked when fighting a lightpunching 135lber campaigning at 147lbs against the former P4P #1.

    Sounds fair.

Why can't Floyd get down to 140?

Who does Floyd have to beat to get credit? JMM is ranked in everyones top 3 P4P list. JMM called him out..if Floyd fights JMM he is fighting a 35 year old feather fisted pucher at 147 and if he doesn't fight him he is ducking the great JMM? Floyd hasn't been at 140 since Gatti in 2005. Why should he move down in weight when JMM is calling him out?

So if Hopkins called out Klitschko, Vitali would get credit because Bernard is P4P #3 would he?

People are misinterpreting the P4P rankings. Marquez was rocked by a light-punching Diaz at 135lbs. He's never fought above that weight, yet now it's fair to fight one of the most skilled fighters of our generation because he called him out/ranked #2 on P4P lists.

Mayweather would get credit fighting Pacman at 140 and any of the top welters.

Id love to see Marquez Mayweather deemed as a warm-up for Floyd or just in general! It could spell either great things for floyd in a great win or a bad lose or a draw! He wil win but either way it sets him up for some good action and somehow i think Mosely cott will fight soon and Floyd would and should settle for Marquez~

No but why does Bernard get credit for beating Tito, De La Hoya, Wright, Pavlik. They where all good to great fighters close to the top of there game. The risk was there but all of the fighters moved up to fight him. Bhop gets credit for taking on a risk like Adamek more than a victory over Pavlik in my book.

If that is the case JMM should **** his mouth and go after who at 135? He beat Juan Diaz, Cassamayor, lost and drawed to Pacquiao, Nate Cambell is at 140. There is nothing else to prove at 135 for JMM.

What makes anyone think that if Floyd got down to 140 that he couldn't beat Pacman, JMM, Bradley, Holt, Witter?

Floyd is the biggest name in boxing now and he should do what he wants. I just hope its a fight with JMM this year and Pacman at the end of the year.

If Floyd fights Manny or JMM at 147 that is bull... Floyd can make 140 for sure.

So Manny coming up to fight De La Hoya at 147 was bull. Why the F@ck does Oscar get that pass. What is a bigger advantage Oscar/Pacman at 147 or JMM/Mayweather at 147. If Floyd goes down in weight and murders the competition at 140 hater will say he ran from 147 if he stays at 147 hater are going to say he is picking on smaller opposition. IF........Floyd fights again enjoy it at any weight. JMM is at the top of his game now and if his mouth calls out Floyd why are we mad that Floyd is going to shut it for him.
