I disagree, I remember the few times Cotto stood his ground and closed his guard, he was able to see all those punches coming and come back with harder shots, but then he would step out and started dancing again, I was like wtf! I think the major problem was his condition wasn't there + running around + getting caught on the ropes.

Yeah Cotto was handling himself on the inside with Mosley who manhandle Margarito on the inside, but he is not strong enough for Margarito. GTFO with yuor ****** bias bull****!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mosley did NOT fight Margarito much on the inside untill he had him hurt. If you watch the fight again Mosley would throw 5 hellacious haymakers from the outside to margarito's unprotected head then clinch Margarito with all his strength and move him to the ropes when ever Margarito got to the inside. Mosley repeated this until he wobbled Margarito, then he took it to the inside on Margarito and KOed him. I doubt Cott has the physical strenth to do all that clinching and moving a bigger man to the ropes without tiring.

He had the wrong game plan, before the Cotto-Margarito fight I laid out the same exact plan that Mosley used against Margarito, but the ever wise NSB poster told me that I didnt know ****, that know body could go foward and trade with Margo or fight on the inside with him, even less pushing him back, nor KO him.

He should of do what Mosley did, instead of running around like a dumass all night, he should of stay on the inside and rip margo with body shots, and tie him up.

I think he will. Cotto might not be saying much publicly about the handwrap scandal, but you can bet privately he is wondering whether Margarito used them in their fight. He will want to avenge that loss, mark my words!

Why not? Since Mosley showed what could be done against Margarito, there is nothing preventing Cotto from hittin the gym and gaining pure physical strength.

How do you think Mosley became that strong? He was benching 300lbs when he fought at 135lb.
