Having strength is one thing. Knowing how to effectively use it is another.

Fact is Mosley beat Marg with his style and physical strength. Cotto can gain strength but lacks the style to use it effectively.

I'm undecided yet, especially since Cotto was a lot more patient than usual against Jennings. I'm not quite sure how Cotto-Clottey will play out.

I like your call though. It would certainly be good if the fight played out like that!

I dunno. I think if he improved his strength, he'd find it easier to make room on the inside to throw the left hook to Marg's body. Especially since he found it so difficult to get to the body last year.

        Good post though.

He fought as well as he could fight, he just couldn't do it for a full 12 rds.

I think the Mosley being so much stronger than Cotto thing is getting overplayed. Cotto stood on the inside and wrestled in the clinch plenty with Mosley, and many times got the better of it. Mosley aint that much stronger than Cotto, if at all.

Cotto fought ******. He did. He's capable of doing what he needed to do, but he just doesn't. It boggles my mind sometimes. He wouldn't circle, and he wouldn't tie up on the inside. If he tied up when Marg caught him up against the ropes, it would have been a whole different fight.

But Margarito's pressure got Cotto all ****ed up and he didn't make the right adjustments. Props to Margarito for that.

Maybe so... But I still think Cotto simply isnt durable enough for the big welterweights. Thats why I dont think he'd beat Marg, Williams, Clottey and dare I say it....... I think CINTRON would have him in trouble...!! I know I'll catch **** for that. But Cintron has shown that he isnt the most durable and strong minded fighter either..
