Did Cotto had wrong gameplan for MARGARITO?

He had the wrong game plan, before the Cotto-Margarito fight I laid out the same exact plan that Mosley used against Margarito, but the ever wise NSB poster told me that I didnt know ****, that know body could go foward and trade with Margo or fight on the inside with him, even less pushing him back, nor KO him.

He should of do what Mosley did, instead of running around like a dumass all night, he should of stay on the inside and rip margo with body shots, and tie him up.

I think he fought margarito the best way he could. The only thing he could have done better was clinch Margarito everytime he got on the inside. If he clinched Margarito he would have won, but then again Margarito was actually manhandling Cotto on the ropes, so I don't know if he would have been able to clinch and push margarito back the way mosley had.

He's not strong enough to clinch the bigger stronger Tony.

Clinching and grappling would really get him worn down and KTFO.

#1 Headhunted Margarito too much
#2 Didn't attack the body enough
#3 Stayed on the ropes too much

He most certainly should not have gone toe-to-toe with Margarito.

You're forgetting Cotto's inability to defend against the uppercut..Tony would really slice him up worse if they fought again.
