    Lets be honest here.
Yes, that is the problem. It could very well be an easy decision win for him. I don't think he has the offensive desire to stop Marquez. May do so on cuts or something but no way he actually stops him with putting him down or out.

The one problem is that even 143/44 is way too high for Marquez. 140 is too high for him. He just isn't big enough. It's really that simple. Anyway, I don't want to see this fight. Marquez could lose a boring decision and then where would he be? Pac wouldn't need to fight him, he would be getting close to 37 etc etc and he will have just lost to a guy that came out of retirement and had been out for a year or more. Pointless.

Agree with you, Benny. Perhaps Marquez just wants a decent payday or two before calling it quits... who knows. As you said, he's 37. He's been through a few tough fights, and it makes me wonder how much is left in the tank until he starts losing to less-than-stellar competition. He is still an excellent fighter but he should stay at 135 instead of constantly chasing Pacquiao's shadow, IMO. A Mayweather fight is an almost guaranteed loss and he doesn't need it at this stage of his career.

EDIT: WTF am I saying... Marquez is 35 not 37.

This is true. I don't know what Marquez is thinking. But hey if he wants to fight Mayweather let him get a payday and retire knowing he lost to the very best.

the only reason most fans would buy a floyd fight is to watch him lose.he is by and far the most hated so-called pnd for pnd in boxing history,he talks like a ******ed 5year old, and hand picks his fights the guy is dodging a 37 year old mosley while being in his prime ,sugar ray robinson he aint and certainly couldnt tie any of the sugars shoes!

Floyd wants to come back. There is no question in my mind. He wants Marquez first and would eventually fight Mosley. He would beat Mosley in my opinion.

Floyd would K.O. pacquiao, UD Mosley and possibly K.O. Cotto.

Just let him work the ring rust out.
