I define era's as in decades. Roy was certainly the best out of his era in the 90's.

Just a side note. I see these all time lists from time to time, and more often than not I see Roberto duran at about the number 9 spot above Hearns, Hagler, and Sugar Ray. Haaaa. All these guys beat him and Hearns killed him. And I know he wasn't at his best when he got beat by hearns but, he was still 3 younger than Roy was when Roy won a Heavy weight Title. Now there is no way Duran is better than Roy Jones Jr. Roy was so much better its not even funny. Roy would of annilalated him. Roy is bigger and they never could of fought but The difference between Roy and No mas is a couple 1000 miles. When peeps put Duran in top 10 it makes it so easy for me to put Roy in top 3.

Prime Roy easily beats, hagler, hearns, Duran, and sugar Ray leonard.


I gotta put him in top 3. Noone from 160-175 could have ever beaten a prime Roy Jones.
