I have a heavy bag but I don't think I'm really hitting it right. Anyone have any advice on how it's done? It came with ****ty MMA-style gloves so I'm using those
I just recently learned to do the speed bag right, where it hits the top 3 times before you hit it again...
I enjoy hitting my bags, but it does bother me how it feels like all my power is blunted when I have gloves on... it doesn't feel like I'm making a real impact when I have the gloves on, know what I mean?
heavy bag ... but i wanna invest in something like this
they any good!?
Thats exactly what I have. Glad I have it, but wish it was better quality. I have to put extra weight on top of the speed bag board to get a good bounce back. The piece on the bottom that holds a weight broke off due to crappy welding.
I'm glad I have it becuase it serves it purpose, but I would have bought something else if I could.
Good point. The one in the basement is hooked up to a fat wooden beam in the ceiling, so no drilling was needed, but for convenience this design is pretty good.
I like space around my feet, though, so I don't think I could live with that big frame.
From my experience, it doesn't get in the way at all.
Own a heavy bag, mits, sparring gloves and my speed bag broke about 3 weeks ago and I've been lazy. Me and my house mate are thinking about investing in some sparring gear.
Just a roll call to see just who the hardcore fans are because chances are if you LOVE boxing, you've gone out and bought some stuff like bags. I am a proud owner of both.
and im the proud owner of this blow up doll. i pound the thing every night to improve my stamina.
i believe that if i pound it hard enough and double the work, i can eventually turn pro.
